At the end of the world, one solitary man remains. Adam moves through his tedious life, surrounded by the death of everyone he ever knew, as if nothing had ever happened. He wakes up, eats breakfast with his dead parents and rides the train to work; he sits beside his dead coworkers and then goes home.
One day, Adam breaks from his never-ending monotony, visiting his sister’s grave, and
realising that he cannot continue on, he decides to bring peace to those he passes every day, and buries them methodically and lovingly. Adam stands solitary but finally, finally at peace.
